This demon is a preferential demon with stats that are four points higher compared to standard demons at the same level. It also enjoys favorable skills, unlocking Mazio at LV13 and Recarm at LV21.

In Soul Hackers, Mazio boasts superior range and power compared to Zio, making it a high-damage skill. Despite its high stats, the drawback is that due to its lower level, stronger demons become available relatively quickly, which is regrettable.

Absolutely recommend this demon for exchange!

The real value of this one lies in the Lost Word, no doubt. It becomes an exchange material for the Fairy Pixie with Megidolaon, a quest opened at Pet Shop.

In the Sega Saturn and PlayStation versions, there was no demon with Lost Word until the level 63 Avian Garuda, so players used to say things like,

山田くんの似顔絵

How are you gonna handle Megidolaon Pixie at that level?

However, in the 3DS version, numerous inheritance options are available, making it a thrilling feature in Soul Hackers. Check out effective utilization of Megidolaon Pixie's inheritance for specific examples (Japanese only). I'll briefly introduce some here too.

Oliver Zero is more of a novelty element, I'd say.

While it's technically the lowest-level demon that fulfills the Pet Shop request for "Demons with Luck 25 or above," it's not very practical. This is because demon fusion is necessary, and the required Mitama can't be created until LV42.

This one's a super recommendation!

With three essential support magic spells in the Megami Tensei series, Goblin is quite exceptional. It unlocks Tarukaja at LV17, Sukukaja at LV12, and Makakaja at LV46—all at the impressive level of 10.

Especially in the 3DS version, when effectively utilizing Megidolaon-inherited Pixie, the magical damage becomes incredibly potent. Being able to use Makakaja from such a low level is incredibly powerful.

Building demons with all Kaja spells becomes relatively easy by starting with Goblin as a base.

But, you know, when you actually make and use it, it's not as useful as you might think.

Megidolaon inheritable!

In the same level range, it leans towards magical attack power, making it quite strong even without modifications. You can inherit Megidolaon using the following fusion recipe:

  1. Haunt ObariyonFairy Pixie×Foul Slime
  2. Foul DoumanHaunt Obariyon×Spirit Garrote×Element Gnome

Raising its level to 30 and enhancing its magic with Mitama Kusi Mitama will boost Megidolaon damage to 2.5 times.

Megidolaon inheritable!

It boasts about 1.5 times the firepower of Foul Douman. Even without inheriting Megidolaon, it remains strong with skills like Pyroclastic Tempest and Frenzy.

To inherit Megidolaon, you need to be at least LV36. Fusion options include Foul Douman×Divine Power×Beast Nekomata, among others. If Douman only inherits Megidolaon, you can carry it over without other skills.

Boosting its magic with Mitama Kusi Mitama increases Megidolaon damage to 2.8 times.

Absolute powerful monster!

In Soul Hackers, magical damage isn't dependent on the demon's level. In other words, by enhancing a demon with both high Magic and Intelligence above 20, you can achieve the same damage output whether the demon is at LV41 or in the 80s. Despite this, she starts without any attack skills...

山田くんの似顔絵

This is a clear request for Megidolaon inheritance, isn't it?

By inheriting Megidolaon through fusions like Genma Cu Chulainn×Night Black Frost×Fallen Bifrons, you can deal over twice the damage of Night Black Frost and almost six times the damage with the use of Mitama.

So, you've finally become my ally...

With a performance that seems to be a gimmick within the Frost series, it's quite adorable with its unbalanced stats of Magic 5 and Intelligence 5. Despite not being able to FREEZE or MARK itself, it comes with Ice Crush and Yabusame Shot.

In terms of performance, its Happy Trigger has firepower similar to Fairy Setanta, and being Speed 20 with Makarakarn, it can play a decent role.

However, its true value lies in Sneak Attack during the new moon. Sneak Attack becomes a 4-hit attack exclusive to the new moon, and with the DB Busters's moon phase effect, the damage is doubled. Without Mitama, it deals about 3.3 times the damage of Lady Kushinada's Megidolaon. Even with Mitama, it's around 2 times the damage.

However, Brute Berserker, who also has Crescent Slash, outshines it by about 30% in terms of firepower. The difference widens to 2.5 times during the 3/8 moon phase due to the moon phase effect.
