Damage simulator for boss battles
This is a damage calculation tool for boss battles in Shin Megami Tensei I.
When you select a boss from the menu above, detailed information about the boss and the damage calculation tool will be displayed.
Specifications and Details
This tool allows you to simulate damage inflicted by the protagonist and allied demons during each boss battle in Shin Megami Tensei I. Use it to make informed decisions about weapon choices and demons by considering the boss's stats and elemental resists.
The "Damage" field in the damage ranking represents cumulative damage, including the number of attacks. It does not multiply further by the number of attacks.
Explanation of Options
Several options are available in the damage ranking:
"St," "Sword," "Gun," and "Ammo" are options for the protagonist, participating in the ranking based on the specified values for "St," "Sword," "Gun," and "Ammo." According to the verified formulas, the protagonist's current level does not seem to affect the damage. Further testing is needed, considering that in Shin Megami Tensei, the character level often influences physical damage.
"LV" refers to the range of levels for the allied demons being simulated, defaulted to the boss's level plus 5. In this game, there are no methods to enhance demons through magic inheritance or Mitama fusion.
Physical attacks such as Feral Bite seem unaffected by power, so they are calculated with a power of 0 (equivalent to a regular attack).
"Ignore Resist" option calculates damage assuming 100% damage for all elements. This is a development-related option and may not be particularly useful for actual gameplay.
Areas of Inconvenience
The protagonist's weapons displayed include all available equipment, regardless of whether they are obtainable at the specific boss battle timing. This is due to a lack of investigation into the acquisition paths of equipment. While it is on the list for future research, it currently holds a lower priority.
It is not possible to simulate the damage from partner demons' magic attacks in this tool.
How to Play Shin Megami Tensei I Now?

It's quite accessible to play.
As of July 15, 2020, Shin Megami Tensei I has been added to Nintendo Switch Online's "Family Computer & Super Famicom" collection. This means you can play it if you have a Nintendo Switch. Additionally, SMT II and SMT if are also available.
If you prefer a portable option, you can purchase it for ¥1,047 on the Vita (or PS3 + PSP) through the store. Moreover, it seems to be available on Nintendo's Virtual Console, so if you have a Wii or Wii U, you can check there too.
While the Switch is a bit on the bulkier side, personally, I recommend the Vita. However, since it's discontinued, prices are now at a premium. If you're open to buying used, it seems you can find one starting from around ¥10,000.
